SL Controls, a dynamic software integration firm, wanted to streamline its IT systems across its offices nationwide and internationally. The company, which is undergoing rapid growth, felt its previous systems restricted business operations and the company wanted to ensure that its IT structure was robust and secure enough to deal with its international expansion.
SL Controls needed access to computing resources on demand to support the business expansion without any lead time on IT. The company also wanted to simplify operations across its offices by enabling employees to work anywhere and at any time.
What We Did
The ProCloud team worked with SL Controls to understand the challenges with the company’s legacy IT systems, which were unable to meet business demands in real time. Our approach is to migrate all systems to the cloud, using Microsoft Azure Cloud for Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Data Backup and Disaster Recovery of critical applications. The new cloud first approach allows employees to work from anywhere at any time.
ProCloud worked with SL Controls to leverage the full capabilities of Office 365 so the SL team can now make use of Skype for Business, Microsoft Teams and SharePoint for enhanced collaboration. ProCloud also installed an Aruba Wireless network across all sites to enable mobile operations and guest WiFi access. SL Controls’ has transformed its IT function to better respond to a very dynamic business in real time, at a lower cost and in a safe and secure manner as it continues to expand both domestically and internationally.
